The Fall Season at Walt Disney World

By Ashley Ebey, MMV Agent and MMV IG Brand Manager

The fall season has arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort, and this year it is uniquely “spooky.” While the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties were canceled for the 2020 season, Disney has brought this fan-favorite time of year to life in a fun, but safe way.

At the Magic Kingdom, Mickey and the gang are all dressed up this year! You can find them greeting guests at the end of Main Street from the train station above and also during the Happy Halloween Cavalcade. This cavalcade, or very short parade, follows the traditional parade route starting in Frontierland and ending on Main Street. Make sure to keep your ears open! You may hear some familiar music playing as they say hello.

But that’s not the only spooky characters you can see. The Disney Villains, along with Jack, Sally, and Mr. Oogie Boogie himself, make their way around the park in their own cavalcades.

Who could forget everyone’s favorite silly, ole bear? Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore greet guests in their adorable Halloween costumes, as well.

In addition to character greetings and cavalcades, there are lots of fun fall treats to sample!

New to this year’s fall fun, is this Madame Leota sipper. Find it at Spooky Hollow, but get in line early because they sell out fast. Also, in case you missed out, last year’s Jack Skellington sipper, Mickey pumpkin popcorn bucket, and Oogie Boogie dice have returned as well.

Looking for a tasty, but ghoulish treat? Head to Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs and grab this black flame candle cake. While this cake is not necessarily Hocus Pocus themed, this cake would surely make Mary Sanderson proud. Filled with chocolate biscuit, vanilla cake and cookie and crème mousse layers, this cake is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Also returning is the super cute and not so spooky Minnie Pumpkin dome. This cutie is filled with carrot cake and pumpkin mousse.

These things are just the tip of what’s being offered this year at the Walt Disney World Resort for the fall season. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this hauntingly good time. Want more info? Contact your Magical Moments Vacation agent for more details.
