Disneyland - Halloween Time Happenings

It’s Halloween Time for one and all! Where loved ones, the Mickey Pumpkin, a Headless Horseman and happy haunts have a ball. With Characters in costumes and friendly spirits to be seen. Experience the joyful transformations and have the happiest Halloween!

From August 21 through October 31, 2026, frightfully fun Halloween Time experiences can be found across the Disneyland® Resort, including Disneyland® Park, Disney California Adventure® Park, Downtown Disney® District and the Hotels of the Disneyland® Resort.

Get your Halloween going at Disneyland® Park with a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. as the great Mickey Pumpkin makes its return. But keep an eye out while you roam—you may spot Mickey Mouse and his pals dressed in brand-new Halloween costumes. Hop into your Doom Buggy and tour Haunted Mansion Holiday inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas with happy haunts and ghastly seasonal touches. And when night falls, find yourself surrounded by monstrous music and supernatural projections as villains take over the night with Halloween Screams, a nighttime Halloween spooktacular. On select nights, marvel as the sky comes alive with a Halloween-themed fireworks display! Be sure to check show times.

Over at the main entrance to Disney California Adventure® Park, you’ll find Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. His fiendish silhouette kicks off the mischief, welcoming Guests, continuing all the way down Buena Vista Street toward Carthay Circle Restaurant. And if that doesn’t stir your Halloween spirit, follow the ghostly gallop of the Headless Horseman for a frightfully fun photo opportunity!

And don’t miss a transformed Cars Land, all dressed up for Haul-O-Ween. The entire town has been revamped with residents in Halloween costumes and homes decorated for the season! Looking for Radiator Springs? Now, it’s Radiator Screams! You’ll even see Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree has taken a ghoulish turn as Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree. Then keep your motors running at Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween presented by Enterprise, where the Halloween fun doesn’t stop.

And only when the sun goes down, head to the Collector’s fortress, where the power is off and the fun is on as you help Rocket rescue Groot at Guardians of the Galaxy—Monsters After Dark. And make sure you check out Mickey’s Trick and Treat, an interactive show at the Disney Theater.

The Halloween Time transformation doesn’t end there! Find brew-tiful Halloween décor haunting the halls of Downtown Disney® District and the Hotels of the Disneyland® Resort. purchase.
