“For us, what we love most about Disney cruising is the perfect balance of family time and couples time. In addition to the children's activities in the Oceaneer's Club and Lab, Vibe, and Edge, there are family activities available throughout the day. While the kids were having fun in the kids' clubs, my husband and I treasured the quiet adult time that we never experienced on any other vacation. The Quiet Cove adults-only pool, Cove Cafe, and the padded lounge chairs on deck four were our favorite spots to relax. Exploring new places while in port is a highlight as well. A few favorites include swimming with stingrays in Grand Cayman, touring 16th century forts in Old San Juan, and snorkeling with sea turtles in Barbados.”

“I think my favorite thing was the fireworks at sea. They were amazing. We went up to the deck and found a spot that we could watch from, then decided that the location of our stateroom made it perfect for balcony viewing. We got comfy in our pajamas and watched from our balcony. Beautiful!”

“I've sailed Disney Cruise Line with my family and just as a couple for our wedding anniversary. The adults-only cruise was my favorite! We sailed the Western Caribbean itinerary from Galveston on the Wonder and couldn't have had a better time. Disney seats you with similar guests so we ate with 2 other couples each night and became friends with them. We spent our days split between the family pool and the Quiet Cove adults only pool, and our evenings in the adults only club area, After Hours. It's a common misconception that DCL is only for families with children. But if service, cleanliness, food and quality entertainment are important to you, then it's absolutely for adults only as well!”

“From the moment we walk on the ship there is this feeling of magic! All of the Cast Members onboard are so welcoming and helpful. One of our favorite things about Disney Cruises is that there are activities for everyone, some together and some for just Adults or Kids. Our 11year old son, who has been cruising Disney since he was 22 months old, loves Edge and how the activities allowed him to get to know the other kids his age and also have a little freedom on the ship. Another one of our favorite things to do is get to know our serving team at dinner. We have made some lifelong friends and love getting to see the same servers on future cruises and sometimes even on different Disney ships. We happened to be on the last sailing in March of the Disney Fantasy, before everything shut-down. We cannot wait to get back on a Disney Cruise again!”

MMV Tip: Did you know? You can book your Disney Cruise with a deposit equal to 20% of the cruise fare. And, if you need to, for most bookings, you can cancel your cruise and you can get a refund of your deposit up until your final payment date. This date varies by cruise, but in general is about 90 days prior to sailing. Some restrictions do apply, ask your MMV agent for details.
