The Disney Wish, the latest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet, has made her way to Port Canaveral. Set for its Maiden Voyage on July 14th, this ship will bring "fantastical worlds and beloved stories" from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar to life like never before.
The Christening Ceremony
One important event must happen before any ship can set sail and that's its Christening. This special tradition is something that goes back for centuries. When a ship is christened, it's believed to bring good luck and safety to the ship and future voyages. On June 29th, the Disney Wish will have her big day and we are so happy to announce that our agency owner, Jen Kistler, will be in attendance to experience all the fun. Because of this special invite, Magical Moments Vacations will be updating our clients and followers live from the ceremony itself!
The Christening Sailing
Adding even more magic to the day, after the Christening ceremony takes place, the Disney Wish will set sail on a special 3-day Christening cruise. Not only will our amazing leader Jen be onboard, but she'll be joined by 3 other members of MMV. During this sailing, we will be updating our clients and followers daily with details of the magic your family can experience onboard the Wish. From info about everything your littles can enjoy to the perfect evening dinner for just the grown-ups, this ship has something for everyone. That's why you don't want to miss a second.
