Top 5 Reasons to Visit Universal Orlando Resort

If you haven't visited Universal Orlando Resort recently, you may be shocked at what has changed. The resort has grown to 3 theme parks, 8 resorts, and an exciting entertainment district. With Epic Universe expected to open in 2024, Universal is going to continue to thrill guests for many years to come. Need a few reasons to visit? Incredible Resorts There are two new resorts on property that offer standard rooms and family suites to sleep 6 at affordable rates. These are not your basic hotels either. Universal's Endless Summer Resort Surfside Inn and Suites and Universal's Endless Summer Resort Dockside Inn and Suites both feature resort-style pools, game rooms, fitness centers, and food courts. The resorts are inspired by surf, sand, sea and breathtaking sunsets. The design is smart, clean, and refreshing. Other resorts on property include Cabana Bay, Aventura, Sapphire Falls, Royal Pacific, Portofino Bay, and Hard Rock Hotel. They each have a personality and style that is unique. These resorts are destinations on their own and guests can easily spend much of their vacation time enjoying the amenities offered. In addition to their fantastic design, many offer a select number of family suites with themed kids rooms. The premier resorts even include unlimited express passes for guests. Featured below is the gorgeous Portofino Bay Resort. The resorts at Universal Orlando are one of my favorites reasons to visit! A New Attraction For the last decade, Universal Orlando has released a new attraction each year. The trend continues with the soon to open The Bourne Stuntacular. This all-new live-action stunt show is said to be a cutting-edge live show that will blend stage and cinema in a way never seen in an attraction. If you didn't visit in the past year or so, you haven't experienced Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. This is an adventure, not just a roller coaster, as you ride through the Forbidden Forest experience lots of twists and turns. The Amazing Water Park Okay...so let's be honest...I'm not a water park person. For me to say you should visit Universal's Volcano Bay is a pretty big deal! I was blown away by the technology, layout, and amenities. It has the tallest water slides in the world, several lazy rivers, and a wave pool. The entire park is themed as a lush tropical jungle, so relaxation is a breeze. You can explore the water park all day or relax in your rented cabana. And...it is a complete blast! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Okay...it isn't new. Yes, I've already mentioned Hagrids Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. BUT...Are you a Harry Potter fan? Then, you have to experience this. More than once! You will be immersed in Harry's world with magic around every turn. The detail is incredible with so many treasures to uncover and spells to cast that you can spend days exploring Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Halloween Horror Nights - 30th Anniversary 2020 marks the 30th anniversary for Halloween Horror Nights. The dates have already been released and expectations are high as Universal Studios marks this special milestone. All-new scares, plus reimagined haunts inspired by the past, will invade Universal Studios Florida for select nights. This is definitely a scare-fest. This event may be too intense for young children.
