Whether you're a How to Train Your Dragon fanatic, or new to the fandom, Isle of Berk, one of the five worlds inside Universal Epic Universe, is something you just have to see to believe.
It's a dragon filled "land" packed with one-of-a-kind thrill rides, meet and greets so sweet they'll melt your heart, amazing food, and top-notch entertainment. There's so much to see! To ensure you don't miss a thing, we've gathered the details of everything you'll want to experience when visiting the Isle of Berk during your time at Universal Epic Universe.
When entering Isle of Berk, you're going to want to take a pause... just stop and take it all in for a second. This world is a true work of dragon-loving art. When we say this world is huge, it's MASSIVE.
The Rides
Hiccups Winged Gliders (Minimum Height 40”)- Get a dragon's eye view as Hiccup’s latest flying contraption sends you swooping and soaring, above and around the Isle of Berk. This ride is the "centerpiece" of Berk. So, in regard to rides, this will be one of the longer lines, be sure to plan accordingly.
Dragon Racer's Rally (Minimum Height 48″)- Hold on tight and practice aerobatic maneuvers on a Viking-made dragon-riding trainer in hopes of becoming a champion dragon-racer. If you're prone to motion sickness, this little swooping thrill ride may bother you.
Fyre Drill (No minimum height requirement!)- Ruffnut & Tuffnut have created a watery boat battle where teams of Vikings compete to outscore and out-soak each other. If the Florida sun is getting you, this ride is a great way to cool down and beat the heat.
Got little ones? Great! Viking Training Camp - Young Vikings will discover all types of dragons as they climb, slide and explore in this sprawling, interactive adventure play camp.
The Meet and Greets to Rule on Meet and Greets
Meeting Toothless will change you. That's the best way we can describe it. Consider yourself warned... If you choose to wait in this line (which can get quite long so we recommend hitting it early before the sun really gets high), you're going to lock eyes with this green-eyed charmer and your heart will simply melt... plus Hiccup's not so bad himself.

Not only can you meet Hiccup and Toothless but Astrid and Stormfly are another great duo to say hey to! How can you not love that smile!?!

Last but not least, you can catch Ruffnut and Tuffnut (the lovable twins who constantly argue like any average set of siblings), and a variety of other Vikings, walking the streets of Berk during your visit. Surely they'll be your new besties by the end of the day!
A Viking's Got to Eat
Food is plentiful inside Isle of Berk. So, whether you need a snack or a feast, there's something for you!
Mead Hall
A place where Vikings feast upon a hearty menu of meats, fish, and drinks including a variety of meads, ciders and ales. Note that your Viking friends (aka Universal Team Members) will be waiting outside the restaurant to remind you to use the mobile order feature inside your Universal Orlando app. Make sure you brush up on that handy tool ahead of time.
Spit Fyre Grill
Discover the Spit Fyre Grill, a quick serve eatery offering delicious meals flame seared by a helpful (unseen) dragon fry cook.

Hooligan's Grog and Gruel
No dragon rider's day is complete without some tasty bites available at the festive racing themed food stand, Hooligan's Grog & Gruel.
If you're looking for something sweet, you'll want to swing into How to Treat Your Dragon. This souvenir shop holds the key to every sugar filled treat you could want to try in Berk. Plus, you can grab things like HTTYD themed popcorn and boxed candy. Even if you're not looking for a snack, you'll want to enter this shop to check out the ceiling! It's adorable.
