Picture this! You planned the perfect Universal Epic Universe vacation day with your MMV agent and it's finally arrived! Except, you're about to miss THE ride... the one you’ve been dreaming about, hyping up, and counting down the days for just because you didn’t grab a Virtual Line spot in time. We're talking about Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry™.

With limited availability and high demand, securing your spot can mean the difference between an unforgettable experience and a serious case of FOMO. But have no fear... your MMV Agent is here and we've got the details on how to give yourself the best chance at snagging this coveted spot in line!

First, please know that this process is subject to change and so the official park opening arrives on May 22, 2025, we could see updates to this process. That's why we recommend you bookmark this page, so you can revisit it as often as you need to since we'll be constantly updating it!!

In order to ride this attraction, you will be REQUIRED to have a Virtual Line pass. No standby line will be offered. For park previews, and maybe even beyond, you will need to be INSIDE the park BEFORE 11 AM to have access to that first set of spots.

Currently, the virtual que for this ride will open for booking at 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 6:00 PM daily.
Something to keep in mind with these release times is even if it says the Virtual Line spots are all gone, keep refreshing or reopening the page. You'd be surprised what you can get 2, 3, even 10 minutes after the "official release time." In other words, don't give up easily.
To better your odds, work as a team! If you're traveling with others, everyone should give it a tryt. The more hands-on deck, the better the odds. Some hop on wi-fi, some don't. You never know which internet connection will be fastest on that day.
Be signed into the app, on the ride attraction page, BEFORE the drop times take place!
At the exact moment your clock changes to a release time, your virtual line button should turn from grey to blue. Refresh fast if this doesn't happen. To do this, you'll need to temporarily switch the page you're on. Pulling down will not cause the app to refresh.
Choose the Travel Party members you'd like to include on your Virtual Line return time. Keep in mind, if someone isn’t in your Travel Party, they won’t be able to join the return time with you.
For the best chance at securing a spot, click a later time that shows available. This will decrease your chance of seeing the dreaded "no spots available for the time you chose" alert. (This is because most people panic and hit the first time they see. So, the early spots fill up the fastest.)
Most importantly, don't get discouraged!
